“GrünRaum”: Valorization of Green Spaces
International Research Project (AT/CZ) - INTERREG
This project examines the tourism valorization of green areas as well as ways to enhance the quality of the visitor experience of gardens and parks in Lower Austria and Southern Moravia (Czech Republic). Along with a benchmarking study the IMC UAS Krems conducts for this project a study on the needs and desires of garden and parks visitors. The findings of these studies will result in a manual with quality criteria for gardens and parks.

CaucaSusT - Transdisciplinarity for Sustainable Tourism Development in the Caucasus
IMC UAS Krems and BOKU will share with partner universities in Armenia and Georgia their expertise in the area of sustainable tourism development as well as their experience in transdisciplinary research in order to create a suitable model for tourism research and teaching in these countries. Current problems of the sustainable tourism development in the pilot regions will be identified and integrated into the university courses through case studies and field research.

Hybrid Parks - Measuring Economic, Ecological and other Effects of Gardens and Parks

Development of an Artist in Residence program
